This is the year that our 2006 8th graders are “trapped” on a team with freshmen who play fall soccer with their high school.  Cincinnati Elite FC has developed a program so that our 8th graders can play soccer in the fall while their freshmen teammates play soccer for their high school.

What to Expect:

  • Your child will try out for their high school aged team (2006 age group). Like previous years, they will be placed on the team the trainers deem appropriate. You will need to accept and pay the deposit to confirm your child’s spot on the squad that will begin late October/early November…post the High School season.
  • Once tryouts are complete, the trapped 8th graders will be identified, and an invite from Cincinnati Elite FC will be sent, giving you the opportunity to secure your player’s spot on the Trapped 8th Grade Team. This is a separate invite from your regular season team.
  • There is no tryout for the Trapped 8th Grade Team. All trapped 8th graders from the 2006 age group will be combined on a team separated only by gender.
  • Please note: there is a separate club fee for the Trapped 8th Grader team.
  • By playing on this team, the players stay fit and can play competitive soccer keeping their skills and touch on point. They will not be behind their high school teammates that have been playing since August.
  • Although we want all of our players to make their high school team, we realize it doesn’t always happen. Any 2006 player that did not make their high school team as an incoming freshman can play on the Trapped 8th Grade Team.  Notify Nancy Shepard at CEFC.OPS@gmail.com to get added to the team.
