Pete Ohmer is the Head Men’s Soccer Coach and current Trainer for Cincinnati Elite FC. Ohmer currently has his D License and Goalkeeper Level 1 Diploma. Over the summer months, Ohmer will continue his education. “Summer is a great opportunity to continue my coaching education. I’m always looking to improve my craft,” said Ohmer.
“It was an honor to coach the very first Men’s Soccer team at the University of Cincinnati-Clermont College. Coaching is a normal progression after my playing career and has come very naturally to me. My entire career I have been surrounded by great players and coaches. It is now my turn to give back to the community and players. I’m looking forward to coaching at the college level and beyond,” said Ohmer.
Ohmer’s coaching experience includes: Trainer at Cincinnati Soccer Alliance, Alliance Cincinnati, Boys Youth Director for both clubs, Olympic Development State Team Assistant Coach 1999 Younger Boys Rockford Illinois Regional Camp,Olympic Development District Team Staff 2013-2014, Olympic Development State Staff 2013-2014, Ohio South High School Girls Camp, Miami Township Soccer Club, On Goal Soccer Academy and T&T Soccer Camp Instructor.
A 1997 Milford High School Graduate, Ohmer played all four years on the Varsity High School soccer team under Head Coach Alan Grothaus. In those four years, Ohmer was a four-year starter and team captain junior and senior year. After his senior year, Ohmer was selected as Team MVP and awarded GMC All-City selection playing in the senior All-Star game. Ohmer was selected to Milford High Schools 25 anniversary Top 25 players in school history team. Ohmer played College soccer at Wilmington College and the University of Rio Grande. Ohmer resides in Milford with his wife Sarah and four children: Maggie, Christian, Charlie, and Perrin. Maggie will be a freshman playing soccer at Ohio Northern University.
