Project Description

Michael Slauter

Mike has been around the game since he could walk. He has participated in Club Soccer throughout his playing career. In High School, his club team spent countless weekends across the country; from Disney to Memphis, to Jacksonville, and Virginia. The team was a 3-time State Cup Semi-finalist and paved the path for a new club in the Dayton Area. In High School, Mike found the Varsity starting line-up for 4 straight years, receiving league and area honors, as well as Team awards every year. Mike spent 2 years as a member of the Heidelberg University Men’s Team.

Upon graduation from college, Mike joined Cincinnati Soccer Alliance (CSA) as a trainer; starting with 1 team and working his way up to 5 teams by 2014. In his time, Mike has helped girls join college programs, build Third Team players into First Team players, and develop youth teams into some of the most competitive in the area. Post-merger at Alliance Cincinnati, Mike served as the Youth Director in the Girls Program. He organized Youth Development Academy (YDA) sessions and created a program to have older High School Level club players help with the young athletes. He worked with the Boys Youth director to organize and run the Winter 4v4 futsal and training sessions. Mike has shared that his greatest experience is developing strong friendships and bonds with these young athletes and getting to enjoy watching these young ones mature into adults.
